We are on the lookout for an Electrical Assembly Operative to join our well-established client within the local Abingdon area.
About the role:
Full-time position
Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 4:30pm (1/2hr for lunch)
The Role.
Carry out wiring of systems and products using electrical drawings and technical instructions.
Participate in the mechanical assembly of components and full systems.
Fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Identify areas for improvement, and liaise with supervisors to resolve issues.
Ensure all health, safety and quality control procedures are followed.
Skills and Experience.
Proven experience in an assembly role, with strong wiring and hand soldering skills.
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions.
Effective communicator, able to coordinate across departments and with senior management.
Proactive and organised.
Salary
Pay Rate of £12.71per hour
