Furniture Maker

Our client are a company who specialise in manufacturing bespoke furniture, recognised for delivering high-quality products including one off pieces. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Furniture Maker to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment, with varied and interesting work across a range of projects.

As a Furniture Maker you will be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of high-quality products. The role requires someone with a keen eye for detail who can advise on designs and manufacturing processes.

Location: Northampton

Salary: Up to £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: 7:30am - 5pm (Mon - Thu) 7:30am - 12:30pm (Fri)

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture and assemble bespoke furniture items from technical drawings
Work with various materials including wood, fabrics, and leather
Undertake additional joinery work as required
Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
Ensure all work is completed to company and client specifications, with a focus on quality
Work collaboratively with colleagues in the workshop and other departments
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulationsRequirements:

Experience as a Furniture Maker in a workshop environment
Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficient in the use of woodworking machinery and a variety of hand tools
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of workmanship
Flexible and adaptable to work on various types of joinery items
Good communication and teamwork skills
