Due to the location of the site, you will need to have your own transport.
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are:
- Days: 6:00am to 6:00pm
- Nights: 6:00pm to 2:00am
Overtime available on Sundays.
The rate of pay is:
- Day Shift: £12.71 per hour
- Night Shift: £13.50 per hour
- Overtime (after 50 hours): £15.88 per hour
Your Time at Work
As a Meat Production Operative your duties include:
- Working on production lines handling raw and cooked meat products
- Cutting, trimming, weighing, and packing meat
- Operating machinery (full training provided)
- Manual handling and lifting
- Cleaning down work areas and equipment
- Ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
- Working in chilled environments
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have full-time availability and be comfortable working with both raw and cooked meat in chilled conditions.
Applicants will have a good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the work and be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
