How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    adi Automotive Vehicle Charging Solutions – Electrical Supervisor

    Location – West Midlands

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Supervisor to lead and deliver small to medium-sized electrical projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

    This is a hands-on position, requiring active involvement in installation, testing, and commissioning, alongside effective supervision of site activities.

    Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

    Delivering small to medium sized electrical projects, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
    Collaborating closely with the Project Engineer to effectively coordinate labour, materials, and project timelines
    Interpreting and implementing method statements and risk assessments to ensure safe and compliant project delivery
    Supervising subcontractors, maintaining high standards of work and adherence to specifications
    Carrying out regular site safety audits
    Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, site engineers, and key stakeholders through clear communication
    Procuring materials by liaising with wholesalers, obtaining competitive quotations, and managing purchase orders
    Overseeing testing, commissioning, and project completion to ensure full compliance with relevant regulationsAbout you

    We would like to hear from you if you have:

    Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor within industrial and/or commercial environments
    City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 qualification (Inspection & Testing), with strong knowledge of condition reporting
    18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
    NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
    Level 3 Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations
    SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification
