How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the role

    This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of our business.

    You'll be responsible for creating a warm, professional, and polished experience for every client visiting or contacting the showroom. You'll also help support our day-to-day brand presence through CRM, social media, and marketing activity.

    This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in presentation, and loves keeping things organised and running smoothly.

    What you'll be doing

    Welcoming clients and visitors and creating a strong first impression
    Managing enquiries across phone, email, and digital channels
    Expert level social media activity and brand visibility
    Coordinating appointments, meetings, and follow-ups
    Keeping the showroom presented to an exceptional standard
    Supporting a smooth and consistent client journey
    Updating and managing information within the CRM system
    Capturing and sharing projects, products, and company updates
    Assisting with ongoing marketing activity
    What we're looking for

    4-6 years' experience in a client-facing role
    Experience in a showroom, interiors, hospitality, retail, or similar environment
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Excellent organisation and attention to detail
    Confidence using CRM systems
    Experience using social media for business
    A proactive, positive, can-do approach
