Reporting into the pre-construction team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates, supporting tender submissions, and ensuring a smooth transition from pre-construction through to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender & pre-construction
* Manage tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission
* Attend and contribute to pre- and post-tender meetings
* Support project handover to delivery teams upon award
* Work to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output
* Collaborate with internal teams to meet client requirements
Estimating & Costing
* Prepare detailed CSA / MEP cost estimates for data centre and fit-out projects
* Complete accurate take-offs from drawings and specifications
* Review project documentation to ensure full scope coverage
Supply Chain Engagement
* Source and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
* Ensure all tenders remain competitive and commercially viable
Requirements:
* Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a construction estimating role
* Strong background in data centre fit-out projects
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
* Excellent attention to detail and strong commercial awareness
