CNC Turner (Fanuc) – Flexible hours | Subcontract Precision Engineering
Location: Poole, Dorset
Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 + Overtime (DOE)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner (Fanuc) to join a busy subcontract precision engineering company based in Poole. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment producing components for a variety of industries, offering strong overtime potential and a flexi hours options.

Shift Pattern:

* various hours-Flexi

* Early finish every Friday

* 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

* Set, program and operate CNC turning and mill/turn machines using Fanuc controls

* Manufacture high-quality precision components to tight tolerances for subcontract work

* Work from detailed engineering drawings and customer specifications

* Carry out self-inspection using micrometers, verniers, and gauges

* Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

Skills & Experience Required:

* Proven experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Machinist / CNC Lathe Operator

* Strong experience with Fanuc-controlled machines (essential)

* Experience with Nakamura, Goodway or CMZ lathes

* Knowledge of Dugard sub-spindle lathes (advantageous)

* Experience working in a subcontract / jobbing environment

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tight tolerances

* Competent with manual measuring equipment

* Ability to perform basic machining calculations

* Must have the right to live and work in the UK
