We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and committed Year 3/4 Class Teachers to work across primary schools in the Newark-on-Trent area. This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexible work, long-term placements, or ongoing opportunities within KS2.
Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to build confidence in mixed-age settings, we can offer a range of roles to suit your availability and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach and deliver engaging lessons to mixed Year 3/4 classes
Plan, prepare, and assess learning across the KS2 curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Support the progress, development, and wellbeing of all pupils
Work collaboratively with staff, leadership teams, and support colleagues
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom organisation
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS or is completing ECT induction
Confident teaching KS2 and mixed-age groups
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Reliable, adaptable, and committed to raising pupil attainment
Works well as part of a team
