Nursery Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Long-Term)
Location: Central Stockport

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a resilient and experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in central Stockport. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about early years education and has strong experience supporting children with SEND and challenging behaviour.

You will be working within a Nursery setting, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping to create a safe, engaging, and structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support children within a Nursery setting on a 1:1 and small group basis
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with SEND
Manage and support challenging behaviour effectively and positively
Assist in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities
Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environmentRequirements:

Proven experience working with SEND, ideally within an Early Years setting
Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient approach
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
