Mechanical / Electrical Fitters – Short Term Contract
£325 per day | 2 Week Project | Start 20th
We are currently looking for 3x Mechanical / Electrical Fitters for a short-term contract on a wastewater treatment facility project.
This is a hands-on industrial role, suited to experienced operatives comfortable working in demanding site conditions.
Role Overview
* Dismantling and stripping out mechanical equipment
* Work focused on:
* Exhaust systems
* Cooler banks
* Working on older plant machinery (approx. 20 years old)
This is a heavy-duty strip-out role, not a clean installation environment.
Working Environment
* Industrial wastewater treatment site
* Exposure to:
* Oil, grime, and corrosion
* Confined and awkward working areas
* Physically demanding work
Requirements
* Proven experience in mechanical fitting / industrial strip-out work
* Background in:
* Water treatment / utilities OR
* Heavy industrial environments
* Must be comfortable with dirty, hands-on work
* Valid EUSR Water Hygiene Card (essential)
* Valid CSCS or relevant site card (essential)
* IPAF (essential)
Contract Details
* Start Date: 20th
* Duration: 2 weeks
* Working Hours: 08:00 – 16:30
* Pay Rate: £325 per day
Please note: There are scheduled site closure days during the project.
Additional Info
* Site-specific inductions (water passports) will be provided
* Strict adherence to health & safety procedures is required at all times
