How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Trainee Aftersales Advisor - £27,000 OTE £36,457 – Farnham

    Our client, a main dealership in Farnham is looking for a Trainee Aftersales Advisor to join their dynamic and successful Aftersales team.

    The Service Advisor role comes with a competitive salary of £27,000 OTE £36,457 with an excellent benefits package.

    Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 5:30pm with an hour for lunch
    1/3 Saturdays 8:30am - 12:30pm 
    Driving License Required
    Structured training scheme and plan.

    Key Aftersales Advisor Roles and Responsibilities:

    Ensure customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles in a professional manner
    Managing the Parts throughput for the workshop and retail customers
    Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
    Sell additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs
    Advise on timescales and collection arrangements
    Produce job cards on the in-house computer system
    Update customer and vehicle records
    Document all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
    Preparation and completion of invoices 
    Minimum Aftersales Advisor Requirements:

    Experience in a similar role, as a Service Admin / Service Advisor / Parts Advisor or similar
    An ability to sell additional products and services to customer
    Experience in using commercial databases
    Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service
    The ability to manage multiple tasks
