How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Role
    We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a proactive and customer focused Customer Service Representative. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.

    Key Responsibilities

    Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and online channels
    Resolve customer issues efficiently, ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint
    Accurately record and update customer information using internal systems
    Investigate and resolve complaints with a problem-solving approach
    Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of queries
    Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
    Identify opportunities to improve customer processes and satisfactionKey Requirements

    Previous experience in a customer service role
    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
    Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset
    Proven experience using CRM systems or other customer service platforms
    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
    A professional and empathetic approach when dealing with customersDesirable Skills

    Experience in a high-volume customer service environment
    Familiarity with ticketing systems or case management tools
    Ability to analyse customer needs and provide tailored solutions
