How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Located in the heart of Chelmsford, our school prides itself on fostering a supportive environment where both pupils and staff can thrive. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate primary class teacher to contribute to a positive learning community in Chelmsford.

    About the Role
    We are looking for a committed primary class teacher who can deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will be motivated, creative, and eager to support children in reaching their full potential through engaging education and training.

    Key Responsibilities

    Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
    Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils
    Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
    Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
    Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
    Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities
    Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
    Participate in ongoing education and training and professional developmentRequirements

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
    Experience or ability to teach across KS1 and KS2
    Strong understanding of effective education and training practices
