We're currently looking for an experienced Disrepair Carpenter Multi to join a busy social housing contractor, delivering high-quality repairs across Birmingham.

This role is ideal for someone experienced in disrepair works, who takes pride in their finish and understands the importance of delivering safe, compliant, and lasting repairs in occupied homes.

What you'll be doing

Carrying out disrepair carpentry works in social housing properties
Completing repairs and replacements to doors, frames, locks, kitchens, skirting, and other internal elements
Undertaking multi-trade tasks such as basic plastering, tiling, and making good
Addressing issues related to damp, damage, and wear in line with disrepair standards
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes
Working in occupied properties with a professional and respectful approach
Accurately recording works completed and materials used
Striving for first-time fixes wherever possibleWhat were looking for

Proven experience as a Carpenter Multi, ideally within disrepair or social housing
Strong carpentry skills combined with multi-trade ability
Good understanding of disrepair works and standards
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Professional attitude and good communication skills
