Prison GP Locum

We are seeking an experienced Prison GP with prison clearance to join a secure healthcare service in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated GP to provide primary care in a highly impactful setting, addressing the physical and mental health needs of inmates.

Key details:
£100 per hour
5 day work week 
Long term locum
No on-call requirements
Provide holistic care to prisoners in a secure environment
Conduct segregation rounds and medical assessments
Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in face-to-face clinics
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Collaborate with clinical, security, and MDT teams to ensure effective care planningEssential Requirements:
GMC Registration with an active license to practice
Prison clearance (essential)
