Our well-established client is currently looking to hire a skilled Welder/Fitter on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected company that offers a stable work environment, competitive benefits, and opportunities for long-term development.
TIG Welder Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:
* Perform TIG welding on pipework, primarily using stainless steel
* Collaborate effectively with a team of experienced welder fitters
* Manufacture vacuum-insulated pipework to precise specifications
* Carry out installation work as required, both on-site and off-site
* Work with a variety of metals, particularly stainless steel
* Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and technical schematics
TIG Welder / Fitter Ideal Candidate:
* Proven TIG welding experience, specifically on pipework
* Confident in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
* Be a coded welder - beneficial
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
* Previous experience with stainless steel and other industrial metals
* Hold a CSCS card - ideal
* Full UK driving licence is essential
Welder / Fitter Benefits:
* Monday – Thursday, 07:30 – 16:30
* Friday, 07:30 – 12:30
* Pay structure including a 10% premium for onsite working
* All overtime outside the base 39 hours is paid at time + half
* Permanent position
* 20 days holiday, rising to 25 days after 5 years of service + statutory days
