If so, then we at GSL Education Kent would love to hear from you. We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a large, all-through academy located in Canterbury. The selected Maths Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5, helping students to develop strong problem-solving skills and a genuine appreciation for the subject.

The school is a progressive and inclusive 3-19 academy. As one of the largest educational establishments in the region, it offers extensive facilities and diverse opportunities for both students and staff. The successful Maths Teacher will join a supportive and collaborative Mathematics department dedicated to raising attainment and fostering a love of numbers and logical thinking.

As a Maths Teacher, you will be expected to:

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Inspire confidence in students, helping them to develop strong numeracy and problem-solving skills.
Use assessment data to monitor progress and provide targeted support to ensure all students achieve their potential.
Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE Mathematics examinations.
To be considered for this Maths Teacher role, the candidate must:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Mathematics.
Have experience teaching Maths at secondary school level, including Key Stage 4.
Possess strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for mathematics.
Have the right to work in the UK.
Meet GSL's safer recruitment background checks.
Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
