Our education recruitment agency is proud to be working on behalf of a welcoming and specialist SEN school in Altrincham to recruit a committed and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support a pupil with additional needs on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.
The Role:
Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs
Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Supporting the pupil's social, emotional, and behavioural development
Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and adapting resources as needed
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionalsThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH)
Be patient, empathetic, and resilient
Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills
Be proactive and adaptable in response to individual needs
Hold a relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)What the School Offers:
