Role & Responsibilities

* Lead the development of design proposals from Stage 2 onwards, ensuring technical and commercial viability.

* Collaborate with the Project Director and multidisciplinary teams to refine and deliver sustainable design solutions.

* Prepare and coordinate statutory submissions including planning applications, building regulations, and safety gateway requirements.

* Engage with statutory authorities to support approvals, responding to feedback and managing compliance requirements.

* Produce detailed design information, reports, and presentations to communicate project intent clearly to stakeholders.

* Support sector leadership in expanding commercial project opportunities and strengthening client relationships.

* Oversee project progress through delivery stages, ensuring programme, quality, and design intent are maintained.

Skills & Experience Required

* ARB registered Architect with a minimum of 3 years post qualification UK professional experience.

* Proven experience delivering commercial or office projects from concept design through to completion stages.

* Strong technical knowledge of UK planning processes, building regulations, and project delivery frameworks.

* Proficiency in Revit as primary software with at least 2 years of consistent professional use.

* Ability to collaborate effectively within large multidisciplinary teams across complex project environments.

* Excellent communication skills with confidence presenting design ideas and explaining design development clearly.

* Interest or experience in retrofit projects and sustainable design approaches within commercial architecture.
