How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title:  Business Development Executive - Facilities Management

    Location:  Coventry / Home Based (Hybrid)

    Hours:  Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

    Employment: Initially a fixed 12 month contract, potential to become permanent. 

    Salary: Up to £55,000 plus car allowance 

    The Opportunity

    Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are proud to be supporting a leading service provider in their search for a dynamic Business Development Executive to join its existing Sales & Marketing team. This is a pivotal role that will help to drive the business forward.

    The Role

    Primary responsibilities will be to open doors, generate leads and secure initial meetings. Promoting the business in its chosen industrial markets (pharma, logistics/warehousing, food & beverage, aerospace, automotive) You'll be the bridge between our technical experts and our clients, ensuring every proposal is cohesive, innovative, and perfectly aligned with customer needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Identify new business opportunities: For the provision of FM Services within the Industrial Sector, i.e. Pharma, Logistics, Food & Beverage, Aerospace, Automotive industries.
    Sales Process: Generate leads and secure meetings to open opportunities. Delivering business proposal presentations.
    Bid Process: Support the wider sales team to ensure submission deadlines are met.
    Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Sales to develop win themes and impactful post-tender presentations.
    What You'll Bring

    Industry Expertise: Proven Business Development experience within the Commercial or Industrial Facilities Management sector.
    Technical Savvy: Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel
    Basic Office 365; experience for Bid Documents / Presentations
    Salesforce CRM experience is desirable.
    Exceptional Communication: The ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into simple, winning narratives.
    Autonomy: A self-starter who is comfortable working alone or as part of a collaborative team.
    Salary & Benefits:

    £55,000 salary plus car allowance
