How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are currently seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Bristol area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the school environment.

The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos and strong support network for both pupils and staff. With excellent facilities and a nurturing atmosphere, it provides an ideal setting for those looking to develop their experience in education or SEN support.

    The Role:

    * Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs

    * Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

    * Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

    * Contributing to a safe, caring, and supportive learning environment

    The Ideal Candidate:

This role would suit individuals looking to start a career in education, as well as those with experience in care, youth work, or support roles.

    Requirements:

    * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    * A strong commitment to supporting and empowering young learners

    * A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

    * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

    What We Offer:

    * Weekly pay (PAYE)

    * Access to a generous holiday scheme

    * Ongoing support from experienced education consultants

    * Free CPD-accredited online training, including Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, and Child Development

    * Flexible working options to suit your personal circumstances

We are committed to helping education professionals find roles where they can truly excel. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and experience levels.

We are also a Disability Confident employer and are happy to provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process.

If you are passionate about making a difference in a primary SEN setting, we would love to hear from you
