Management Accountant

Your new role
You will work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders and support the delivery of accurate, timely financial information to support business decision‑making. This role offers exposure to core finance activities within a structured reporting environment and will suit someone who enjoys continuous improvement, collaboration, and working to deadlines. There is scope for growth and professional development for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting month‑end close activities, including preparation and review of financial reports
Analysing financial performance and preparing clear explanations for key variances
Assisting with forecasting and budgeting processes in collaboration with non‑finance stakeholders
Performing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Maintaining the fixed asset register and supporting capital expenditure tracking
Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments, and other routine journals
Identifying opportunities for process improvement, standardisation, and increased efficiency
What you'll need to succeed

ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA qualified or finalist
Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is essential
Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail
Confident Excel user, including experience with functions such as Pivot Tables and lookup formulas
Comfortable working in a high‑volume environment with tight reporting deadlines
Able to manage competing priorities, take ownership of tasks, and work effectively as part of a team
Proactive mindset with a willingness to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements
