We are working with a well-established education provider who are looking to appoint a Progress Coach to support apprentices within their Construction faculty.
This is a rewarding, people-focused role where you’ll play a key part in keeping learners engaged, motivated, and on track to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
The Role
You’ll work closely with apprentices, tutors, and employers to monitor progress, provide coaching, and step in early where learners may be at risk of falling behind.
This is a mix of mentoring, coaching, and coordination, ensuring apprentices stay engaged both in college and in the workplace.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
Strong coaching or mentoring experience – able to support, guide, and motivate individuals
Confidence working 1:1 and delivering group sessions
Excellent communication skills – able to build trust with apprentices, employers, and colleagues
Ability to identify issues early (e.g. low attendance, disengagement) and take action
Strong organisation skills – managing multiple learners, tracking progress, and meeting deadlines
Confidence using systems and data to monitor performance and record interventions
A proactive, solution-focused approach – not afraid to step in and resolve challenges
A genuine passion for supporting people and helping them succeed
Your Background Could Include
Coaching / mentoring / student support
Education, training or apprenticeship environments
Construction industry (with an interest in supporting learners)
Customer-facing roles where you’ve supported or developed others
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and group coaching to apprentices
Set clear action plans and track learner progress
Deliver engaging personal development sessions
Monitor attendance, engagement, and performance
Work closely with employers and internal teams
Support learners with confidence, motivation, and wellbeing
Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting
