Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Location: Dartford, Kent

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £43k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting in the South East of England for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. You will be joining a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, who are well-known within the industry, and have an excellent reputation. They are seeking someone who will match the company’s strong ethics and will uphold high levels of service. Our client is also able to consider candidates who are qualified for only surveying and / or analysis, and can offer training / progression in order to round out existing experience. Salaries on offer are excellent, and benefits include: pension scheme, overtime, company vehicle and annual leave allowance.

You will be covering sites across: Dartford, Gravesend, Chatham, Maidstone, Sittingbourne, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Snodland, Ashford, Sheerness, Sevenoaks, Oxted, East Grinstead, Crawley, Croydon, Redhill, Orpington, Sidcup, Bromley, Erith, Grays, Tilbury, Basildon, South Benfleet, Romford, Ilford, Barking, Horsham, Mitcham, Epsom, Twickenham, Haywards Heath.

Experience / Qualifications:

* Proven track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, or Asbestos Surveyor, or Asbestos Analyst

* Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents)

* Excellent technical knowledge, including: HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines

* Professional manner

* Comfortable using IT software / PDAs

* Strong literacy and numeracy skills

The Role:

* Undertaking the full range of management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys

* Carrying out re-inspection surveys

* Collecting ACM samples from site and logging safely

* Producing site-specific technical reports and schematic drawings

* Air monitoring (including: personal, leak, background, smoke and reassurance)

* Conducting 4 stage clearances

* Performing inspection services during and after removals projects are completed

* Wearing correct PPE whilst on site

* Providing bespoke technical advice and project updates to clients
