This is a hands-on engineering design roles focused on water and wastewater treatment projects, supporting the delivery of cost effective and buildable technical solutions within a multi-disciplinary environment.
Typical responsibilities include:
Producing and developing civil engineering design layouts for water/wastewater infrastructure
Working closely with other disciplines including MEICA and process teams
Ensuring designs meet technical standards, safety requirements, and constructability expectations
Supporting project delivery from concept through to detailed design
Desirables:
8 -10 year's experience within the UK water sector
Experience in civil design within water and sewage treatment
A strong understanding of plant layout and infrastructure design
The ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
Degree in Engineering, chartered or equivalent
Offer:
Contract - 12 months rolling
Rate - £550 per day (Inside IR35)
Location - Derby
Working arrangement: 3 days per week for the first 3 months - then relaxed to 2 days week
