Telehandler

Are you an experienced telehandler operator looking for long-term work in the North East? We are seeking a reliable driver to join a major new build housing site in the Newcastle area for an ongoing contract.

The Role:

As the primary operator on-site, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of all materials, ensuring the build progresses without delays. Key duties include:

Operating a telescopic handler to move materials across a live housing site.
Unloading deliveries (bricks, blocks, timber, etc.) and managing site storage areas.
Distributing materials to loading bays for bricklayers, joiners, and roofers.
Performing daily vehicle safety inspections and maintaining the machine in good order.
Supporting the Site Manager with site logistics and ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements:

Valid CPCS or NPORS card (Telehandler category).
Significant experience working on new build housing sites.
Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots).
A dependable work ethic and a proactive approach to supporting on-site trades.
Reliable transport for commuting within the Newcastle/Tyneside area.
