Job Title: Project Manager – Portable & Modular Buildings
Location: Derby (UK-wide travel required)
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Manager to take ownership of projects from point of sale through to completion. This role is key to supporting our continued growth by freeing up our sales team to focus on new business, while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Project Handover & Planning
- Take full ownership of projects from sales handover
- Review specifications, drawings, and client requirements
- Create project timelines and delivery plans
Supplier & Contractor Coordination
- Liaise with cabin and modular building suppliers
- Organise transport, cranage, installation, and groundwork contractors
- Ensure all parties are aligned on timelines and scope
Client Management
- Act as the main point of contact post-sale
- Provide regular updates and manage expectations
- Handle any issues or changes professionally
Delivery & Installation
- Coordinate delivery schedules across multiple projects
- Attend site where required (key installs)
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Problem Solving
- Proactively identify risks or delays
- Resolve issues quickly to avoid impact on the client
Requirements
- Experience in project management, construction, modular buildings, or similar
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Confident dealing with clients, suppliers, and contractors
- Full UK driving licence

Package
- £40,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)
