How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Business Testing & Readiness Analyst

    Job Market – Insurance UAT

Business Testing & Readiness Analyst – About the role

You will play a key role in supporting the testing and delivery of high-quality, well-executed, and operationally sound change across UK Retail. This role sits within the Group PMO function operating at the centre of the group’s growing change agenda. You will ensure that new processes, MI dashboards, changes to the customer journey, product enhancements, and Acturis platform updates are fully tested and ready for release, supporting our ambition to deliver at pace while maintaining strong quality standards. This is not an IT testing role. You will bring deep operational understanding of broking workflows, customer experience, Acturis behaviours, and key broking metrics, applying that expertise to assess changes from a business perspective. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring that requirements are met, improvements are highlighted, and teams are supported in implementing change that is adopted seamlessly by colleagues and clients

Business Testing & Readiness Analyst – Key duties

    Business Testing for Retail Change

Plan, design, and execute end-to-end business testing for Retail change initiatives.

Test operational processes, workflows, and systems for completeness, usability, and risk.

Validate operational impacts and identify issues before go-live.

Testing Data, MI & Insight Dashboards

Test dashboards developed by MI & Insight Analysts to ensure data accuracy, correct logic, appropriate segmentation and filters, alignment to operational behaviours, and clarity for business users.

Validate that insights are meaningful and reflect real operational performance.

    Testing Customer Communications & Documents

Test new or updated Acturis templates, letters, communications, and customer-facing documents.

Ensure accuracy, compliance, clarity, and operational usability.

Confirm alignment to Consumer Duty expectations.

    Product & Proposition Testing

Test new products, schemes, endorsements, workflows, and rules before release.

Validate operational readiness and customer journey impacts.

    CoE & Operational Excellence Testing

Support the rollout or evolution of Centres of Excellence by testing workflow changes, automations, and capacity assumptions.

Validate performance, quality, and end-to-end processes during CoE maturity development.

    Risk & Issue Identification

Identify defects, logic gaps, failure points, and customer risks.

Prioritise issues based on customer impact, regulatory exposure, and operational risk.

Provide clear, well-documented findings and recommendations.

Ensure there is no regression as a result of the change.

    Self-led Test Planning

Create test plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria using operational knowledge — not reliant on provided scripts.

Challenge unclear requirements or unworkable process designs.

Business Testing & Readiness Analyst – Key requirements

Strong operational understanding of broking, insurance operations, customer servicing, or Acturis workflows.

Experience in business testing, UAT, operational readiness, or quality assurance.

Ability to create test scenarios independently based on business requirements.

Experience testing dashboards or MI logic.

Familiarity with Consumer Duty and FCA requirements.
