How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mechanical Fitter

    £16ph - £18ph + Training + Overtime + Days-based + Benefits

    Bristol (Commutable from: Warmley, Emersons Green, Yate, Thornbury, Filton, Bath, Keynsham, Chippenham, Avonmouth, Chepstow)

    Do you have Mechanical / Metals experience looking to work for an industry leading company in a permanent, Monday - Friday, days-based role that offers competitive rates and regular overtime to maximise your earnings?

    This is a great opportunity to work in a highly funded and secure industry where you will receive full product training.

    This company manufacture large scale equipment for the Civil / Construction industry. Due to government backed projects this is due to growth.

    This is a 37.5 hour working week with flexible hours. You will be based out of the companies purpose built HQ performing Assembly, Testing and Build of large scale Mechanical equipment.

    This role would suit a Fitter, looking for a stable Monday - Friday days based role offering overtime and on-the-job training.

    The Role:

    - Manufacturing large civil products from Stainless Steel.

    - Monday - Friday (8am - 4pm).

    - Assembly, Test and Building of Mechanical equipment.

    The Person:

    - Fitter, Engineer, Technician.

    - £31,000 - £35,000.

    - Commutable to Bristol.
