Senior Electrical Design Engineer

What Are We Looking For?

Our Chemical & Biological Treatment platform are looking to hire an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer on a permanent basis. Working as part of an established multi-disciplinary design function, you will take on a fully supported leading role in all aspects of projects, from scoping and detailed design through to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards, with a strong focus on low-carbon solutions.

Some of your key duties include:

Developing  industry leading electrical and instrumentation/control concept and detailed designs.

Carrying out Electrical site surveys to identify the most appropriate and innovative solutions to complex problems.

Play a critical role in leading the EICA engineering input and review of design solutions.

Providing technical guidance on EICA matters to the wider project teams.

Carrying out the planning and implementation of projects in association with the Delivery Management teams.

Leading and participating in safety studies etc.,

Working with our in-house construction and commissioning teams to ensure we delivery a high-quality solution to our clients.

What Do You Need?

Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Knowledge of British and European design standards.

A proven track record as an Electrical Engineer in both a design office and a construction environment within the water (or related process) industry.

Full UK Driving Licence
