Key Responsibilities:
As a CNC Grinder, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC grinding machines to produce precision components:
Set up and operate CNC grinders (cylindrical, surface, tool & cutter)
Load, align, and secure parts to ensure precision
Adjust machine settings to meet exact specifications
Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM
Maintain quality standards and minimize scrap
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machines
Follow safety procedures and ISO compliance
What we're looking for:
To thrive in this role, you'll need hands-on CNC grinding experience and strong attention to detail:
Proven experience as a CNC Grinder or in a similar machining role
Ability to read and interpret blueprints & GD&T symbols
Experience using precision measuring instruments
Full UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Bonus: CNC programming experience (G-code)
