How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Repairs Inspector

    Bromsgrove, Worcestershire

    £37,960.52 per annum + excellent benefits

    Permanent, Full Time

    We now have an opportunity for a Repairs Inspector to join us to inspect, schedule and monitor day to day repairs within occupied and un-occupied homes to bdht standards.

    The Role

    You will carry out pre‑termination and mutual exchange inspections, working closely with operatives, internal teams, contractors and third‑party partners to ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.

    You will maintain financial and statistical records for reports including those required by the Trust’s Board and ensure the Trusts stock condition database is updated and maintained on a regular basis.

    About You

    We are looking for a customer focussed individual with experience of working within the construction industry - ideally within the Residential Social Landlord sector. You’ll have demonstrable experience diagnosing, scheduling and managing repair works and ideally hold an HNC/HND minimum in Building Construction. You will be an excellent communicator and will regard customer satisfaction as your highest priority.

    Proficiency in the use of basic IT systems along with the ability to use handheld technology to record client management information is essential.

    You are also required to hold a current valid driving licence and have access to an appropriately insured vehicle.

    The post holder will be subject to a DBS check at the Basic level.
