How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A leading refreshment provider is expanding their business further and this is a very exciting time to be joining this team. If you are an experienced Coffee Field Service Engineer who has a passion in the industry and is ready for that next challenge then you will be joining a supportive and growing team, who will invest in your future. This is a newly created role, and you will be covering the M25 corridor alongside an experienced team of engineers. They will invest in you, and you will feel part of an important London based team. They are offering a base salary of up to £40k. You will be working Monday to Friday, regular days with no call out rota. All benefits are listed below.

    Responsibilities of Coffee Field Service Engineer

    Set up, inspect, and ensure proper operation of vending and coffee machines at client premises.
    Carry out preventative maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns.
    Respond to service calls and perform quick, effective repairs as needed.
    Diagnose operational issues involving electrical, mechanical, or software components.
    Order necessary parts for repairs, ensuring timely follow-ups to minimise disruption for clients.Requirements

    Hands-on experience as a Field Service Engineer, ideally with a background repairing coffee or vending machines.
    Strong understanding of the technical aspects of vending/coffee machine function, including electrical and mechanical systems.
    Familiarity with brands like Cimbali, WMF, Coffetek, and Evoca is a plus.
    Confident communicator, capable of explaining technical information to customers in clear terms.
    Relevant technical qualifications in electrical, mechanical, or engineering fields are advantageous.
