Due to continued growth, A.W. Jenkinson Transport Ltd is recruiting experienced LGV / HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers to join our team based at our Lockerbie depot.

The Role
As a Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will operate our modern Walking Floor, Chipliner/Curtain-sider, delivering bulk materials and palletised loads throughout the UK.
* Monday–Friday tramping (working away from home)
* Occasional Saturday morning requirements
* Bulk haulage experience preferred (full training available)
This role suits drivers who enjoy independence, variety and being a key part of a respected national logistics operation.
Requirements
* Valid LGV / HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Maximum 6 penalty points
* Valid DCPC & digital tachograph card
* Good understanding of UK/EU driver hours rules
* 1 year Class 1 experience preferred
* Bulk haulage experience beneficial but not essential
* 22 stone weight limit applies to our fall‑arrest gantry systems
