We are working with a well-established specialist in bespoke signage and architectural metalwork, renowned for producing high-quality, custom-designed projects across multiple sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Metal Worker / Fabricator to join their dedicated workshop team. This opportunity suits someone who thrives on varied, hands-on work and takes pride in precision-engineered craftsmanship.

Role Overview

Fabrication and assembly of bespoke metal signage and architectural components
Working with aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel materials
Reading and interpreting detailed technical drawings
High-standard TIG and MIG welding
Safe and efficient use of workshop machinery, hand tools, and equipment
Completing work to quality standards within agreed deadlines
Carrying out ISO and Quality Control data capture as requiredRequirements

Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator / Welder
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and workshop techniques
Confident working from technical drawings with accuracy
Skilled in TIG and MIG welding
Experience with sheet metal forming, including bending and press brake operation
Effective problem-solving abilities
Able to work independently or collaboratively within a workshop team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Good understanding of health & safety standardsDesirable:

Experience within the signage or architectural metalwork industry
Additional skills in polishing, finishing, and assemblyHours, Salary & Benefits

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (experience dependent)
Hours: 8-hour shifts, with overtime available
