A well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in South Leicestershire is seeking an ambitious Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team. The Opportunity
Working primarily from a village in South Leicester, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality accountancy services and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping duties
* Supporting the preparation of management accounts
* Assisting on audit assignments
* Liaising directly with clients and handling queries
* Supporting senior team members with tax and compliance work
* Contributing to business development activities, including proposals and new client engagement
About You
* AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA
* Previous experience within an accountancy practice
* Working knowledge of software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or CCH
* Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach
* Confident communicator who enjoys client interaction
