How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    £42,000 - £53,000 + Overtime + Door-to-Door Pay + Van + Training + Manufacturer

    Are you a Commercial Gas Engineer with strong fault-finding skills looking for a role where you can develop into renewables and specialist equipment?

    On offer is a long-term opportunity to join a growing manufacturer, where you'll become a product specialist with clear progression and structured training.

    This company are a well-established manufacturer of commercial heating equipment, known for quality and technical expertise. They have a strong reputation and growing demand across the UK, putting them in a great position for continued expansion.

    In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, commissioning, and fault-finding on commercial gas equipment, working across a regional patch. You'll play a key role in maintaining product performance, supporting customers, and representing the brand on-site.

    The Role

    Service, maintenance, commissioning, and fault-finding on commercial gas equipment
    * Covering the M4 corridor and South Coast (mainly coastal patch)
    * Carrying out pre-installation inspections and providing technical advice
    * Producing clear service reports and identifying product issues
    * Managing van stock and maintaining high H&S standardsThe Person

    Commercial Gas Engineer with relevant Gas Safe qualifications
    * Experience with commercial boilers and water heaters
    * Strong fault-finding mindset and pride in workmanship
    * Good communication skills with a professional, customer-facing approach
