The ideal candidate should have a good electrical skillset/knowledge - possible future opportunities for training. That been said, role will involve other aspects such as lifting pumps/mechanical works e.g replacing PVC pipework. We are looking to grow the electrical department which in turn will mean more installation work prior to our existing works
Work is primarily on Sewage Pump Stations & Sewage Treatment Plants, meaning the work is mainly outside and can be dirty. Other works vary from Cold Water Booster sets all the way to Zoo Pond pumps.
Remotely based working from home but depo allocation is at York - trips will be kept to a minimum but will be asked to travel to the York office regularly to collect/drop of parts and undertake in-house training
Work area/location will be kept 'Northern' as much as possible, but we are a national company and cover the whole UK so on occasion may travel a little further.
Mixture of lone work and paired works depending upon the job requirements.
Call out rota of 1 in 4 is currently in operation. This is 24/7.
Specialist tools to carry out works will be provided. The role also includes a woks van within the position
