Workshop Engineer (Forklift Trucks)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established, expanding material handling company looking to recruit a new workshop forklift service engineer to service their fleet of forklift trucks from the depot in Northamptonshire. Responsibilities

Servicing a fleet of forklift trucks from the company’s depot in Northamptonshire 
Servicing other material handling equipment as and when required
Repairing and restoring damaged forklifts so that they a ready for resale 
Cooperating with the Service Manager and Workshop Manager to ensure service is carried out efficiently
Maintaining a safe and tidy workbench and overall workshopRequirements 

The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background but this is not essential. The company are open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including plant, powered access, commercial vehicles or cranes or other related sectors provided you have strong hydraulics and pneumatics experience. Ultimately, the company are after an individual with the right attitude and work ethic. In terms of location, you must be based in a commutable distance of the depot in Northamptonshire.
