Responsibilities of the Design Engineer
* Creating 3D models and derived 2D technical drawings in SolidWorks, and producing 2D layout drawings in AutoCAD
* Contributing to new and ongoing projects - from initial concept sketches to final technical drawings
* Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements
* Reviewing and amending drawings in response to feedback
* Helping bring client visions to life through creative and practical design solutions
* Maintaining accurate documentation, drawing revisions, and version control
Experience required of the Design Engineer
* Solidworks experience is essential.
* Sheet Metal/Fabrication background is highly desirable.
* AutoCAD experience is desirable.
