Senior Civil Structural Engineer

Location: Dublin or Cork – Ireland
Salary: €59,000 - €70,000 per annum
 
We are looking for a Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join the Civil & Environmental delivery team specialising in civil structural design and due diligence, building compliance management and appraisals of existing infrastructure.
 
Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams,
Acting as lead on assigned projects and overseeing the full design, review, and delivery of medium to large-scale work.
Supporting compliance by acting as PSDP shadow, ensuring all design activities align with legal obligations and project safety requirements.
Delivering civil and structural engineering design
Providing technical guidance from concept to detailed design.
Managing civil works contracts and coordinate contractors.
Ensuring smooth execution, aligned disciplines, and elective project administration.
Proactively identifying and mitigating design, construction, and constructability risks.
Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and best practice across all projects.  
Requirements:

Level 8 degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
Familiarity with applicable Codes and Standards and industry current best practice.
Experience with computer analysis and design packages.
Experience with working in multi-disciplinary teams delivering medium to large scale projects
