Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Handling incoming and outgoing calls, dealing with any queries which arise
Daily/weekly banking
Proactively chasing up customers for unpaid invoices
Collecting cash/payments and allocating receipts to accounts
Account reconciliations
Prevention of any issues relating to non-payment of debt
Issuing statements and customer letters
Continuous monitoring of credit limit accounts & new credit applications
Maintain credit hold accounts, obtaining payments and releasing necessary orders
Maintain strong lines of communication with external sales executives
To carry our temporary cover arrangements as required (holiday cover)
Other ad-hoc duties
Required Skills and Experience:
Ideally 1 years’ experience in a Credit Control role (desired)
Confident communication skills, verbal and written
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good IT and Microsoft Excel proficiency
Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
Able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively
Willingness to learn and succeed
