Nursery Assistant

What You’ll Do

* Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to children’s ages and stages

* Support individual learning needs and contribute to high‑quality provision

* Build strong relationships with families and work collaboratively with colleagues

* Keep safeguarding at the heart of your practice

* Help create inclusive, inspiring learning environments

* Support apprentices and students through positive role‑modelling

* Stay up to date with best practice and commit to ongoing professional development

* Work flexibly to meet the needs of the setting

* Follow all relevant policies, including Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity, Health & Safety and Data Protection

Qualifications -

Essential

· NNEB or equivalent level 2 childcare qualification

· Level 2 maths (GCSE or equivalent)

· Level 2 English (GCSE or equivalent)

Desirable

· Assessor awards.

· Health & Safety, First Aid and Food Hygiene qualifications
