We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller / MET Technician to join an established and busy bodyshop in the Eastbourne area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior, hands-on professional looking to take on a key position within the workshop, combining leadership with light technical duties.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop, while also supporting with light MET duties when required.
* Managing and coordinating workshop activity and workflow
* Supporting technicians to ensure efficiency and productivity
* Carrying out light MET duties where needed
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within timescales
* Maintaining a safe, organised and productive workshop environment
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 10 years’ experience within a bodyshop/workshop environment
* Strong understanding of MET duties and workshop operations
* Proven ability to lead and organise a team
* Hands-on, proactive and highly organised
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
