The SEN teaching assistant role would be working full time on a 1:1 basis with a primary school child, working Monday to Friday 8:30 to 3:30.
The Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant:
Have a sole focus on working 1:1 Basis with a child in KS1
Develop and concentrate on building a relationship with the child, staff and family members.
Constant and consistent communication with the class teacher, regarding progress and potential methods of work.
Create a secure and positive environment for the child to learn and feel comfortable.To apply for this SEN teaching assistant role, you will need:
An up-to-date DBS on the update service or dated within the last 12 months.
A teaching assistant qualification or health and social care (level 2 or 3).
Experience working with SEN children on a 1:1 basis or small groups work.
Experience working with Primary school children.
