Position: Class 1 Driver
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Salary: £17.00 - £19.00 per hour, Monday – Sunday (PAYE ONLY)
Start Times: Between 05:00am – 12:00pm
Contract Type: Ad hoc – temporary work.
Shift Patterns: Days/Nights/Weekends Available
About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Class 1 Drivers to join our growing team in Coventry. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various destinations across the UK. Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for local, regional, and national deliveries
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers
* Perform daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance or issues
* Comply with all road safety regulations, company policies, and procedures
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs
What We’re Looking For:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
* CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
* Digi-tacho card holder
* Minimum of 1 year driving experience (preferred)
* A good understanding of road safety and regulations
* Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* PAYE drivers
