Early Years Assistant

Nursery Practitioner - Level 2

Full time: up to 40 hours 

Hourly rate: £13.00 per hour

Footsteps Stratford Nursery is the home of nature-based play. We are looking for passionate Nursery Practitioner to join their team. With all rooms having free-flow access to woodland gardens, children can fully connect with the great outdoors.

Ashleigh has four nursery rooms, one for each stage of development, each has its own outside play area.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

- Deliver learning experiences and planned activities for a key group that provides outstanding opportunities for the children

- Work within a team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children

- Work in partnership with parents to ensure the outcomes for children are met

- Assess and report on children's progress to ensure continued development

- Be passionate, inspiring and work effectively within a team and have a hands on approach to your own professional learning and development

- To be fun, caring and friendly

- To promote a high-quality learning environment

Requirements

What do we need from you?

- Passion and commitment to working in childcare

- Ability to work shifts between (phone number removed)pm Monday to Friday working up to 40 hours per week

- Commitment to continual development

- Have sound Knowledge of EYFS

- NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Diploma ​in Childcare, NVQ level 2 or 3, EY Educator
