How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior Recruitment Consultant
    Location: Altrincham (office‑based 2 days per week)

    The Role

    This Senior Recruitment Consultant position sits within our Strategic Accounts team, delivering high‑quality talent across the private and public sectors, with a strong focus on SC & DV environments. You'll play a key role in supporting existing strategic clients, absorbing new demand, and strengthening our established security‑cleared talent community.

    What You'll Be Doing

    Own the full end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle with minimal supervision
    Headhunt and engage hard‑to‑find, security‑cleared professionals
    Deliver strong shortlists within SLAs (target 3:2:1 efficiency)
    Lead offer management, negotiations, objections, and onboarding
    Act as a trusted delivery lead for clients and account teams
    Use market insight and data to shape hiring decisions
    Mentor junior recruiters and uphold excellent CRM and data standards

    What We're Looking For

    Proven experience recruiting within SC & DV / security‑cleared markets
    Strong headhunting capability and success placing passive candidates
    Confident client and stakeholder management skills
    Comfortable delivering against targets, SLAs, and KPIs
