How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Strategic Relationship Manager

    e.surv Chartered Surveyors is the UK’s leading residential surveying and property risk expert. Trading since 1989, we complete more than one property inspection every 12 seconds and employ over 600 surveyors nationwide. We are part of the LSL Property Services PLC Group, alongside brands such as Your Move, Reeds Rains and PRIMIS.

    We are now looking for a Strategic Relationship Manager (SRM) to work within the Business Development Team owning and developing key lender relationships while identifying and converting new strategic opportunities, this role will specialise in Building Society Relationships.

    As a Strategic Relationship Manager, you will proactively manage key client accounts and drive growth across both existing and new relationships. You will act as a trusted partner and product ambassador, working collaboratively across e.surv and the wider LSL Group to deliver value, innovation and commercial success.

    Key responsibilities include:

    * Owning and maintaining strategic account plans for assigned clients

    * Building and sustaining senior‑level relationships with key decision‑makers

    * Retaining and growing existing contracts while optimising commercial value

    * Leading new business development activity across multiple routes to market

    * Identifying and developing opportunities across valuation services, specialist products and wider surveying solutions

    * Supporting the development of deal structures that balance commercial outcomes with risk management

    * Working with shared services teams to define service levels across operations, technology, risk, governance and compliance

    * Supporting complex bids and tenders

    * Maintaining opportunity pipelines and delivering against clearly defined SMART objectives

    About You

    * Proven experience in strategic relationship management and business development

    * Comfortable leading pitches and supporting negotiations up to Decision Makers

    * Strong commercial awareness, including budget and revenue accountability

    * Confident negotiator with experience managing complex contracts

    * Able to build trusted relationships and open doors at all levels

    * Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities

    * Experience working cross‑functionally to enhance propositions and deliver results

    * Property or lending sector experience is beneficial but not essential
