Are you confident working with your hands and have a good eye for detail? We're recruiting for a Production Operator to join a growing manufacturer in East Kilbride. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business at the heart of global technology manufacturing.
What you'll be doing:
Conducting quality inspection of small components assembled as part of a specialised product used in high-tech industries
Working in a cleanroom environment with a steady and methodical approach
Following clear work instructions to ensure a high standard of accuracy and quality
Inspecting parts during assembly to maintain quality and consistency
Using hand tools such as calibration equipment and heating elements to simulate the product's operation.
Supporting continuous improvement by suggesting ways to streamline or enhance processes
Meeting production targets as part of a small, focused team
Maintaining a tidy and safe workspace in line with health and safety practicesWhat we're looking for:
Some experience in quality inspection or quality assurance
Steady hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Good team spirit with the ability to work independently when needed
Previous experience with component or fine work is an advantage (but not essential)
